Battle Report: Eldar vs. Brazen Claw & Raven Guard Secure & Control
For this battle, Dan commanded the Eldar, while the Space Marine command was divided between Andy, who commanded the Raven Guard, and Jacob, who commanded the Brazen Claw. The scenario was determined randomly, and we got Gamma Secure & Control. It was determined that there would be five loot counters, each worth 440 Victory Points for our 2,200 point battle.

Battle Report: The Assault on Morkandy Beach, 1st Wave
The Story
It was a battle a long time in the making. The Ork Waaagh! had ravaged much of Arcadia Prime, driving the Arcadian Planetary Defense Force back in disarray, sending them into the sea. For more than a year, the Arcadians regrouped and began to form a huge invasion force to take back their land. But the Orks didn’t sit idle during that time. They had constructed fortifications all along the beaches, waiting to stop any Imperial invasion dead before it left the surf. Sailing out of the dawn sunrise of an early summer day, the assault ships of the Arcadians bore down on the beaches and into the teeth of the Ork defenses, wallowing in the coastal waters and heavily laden with their human cargo. In the years to come this battle would become known as the Assault on Morkandy Beach.

Battle Report: Tyranids vs. Orks Cityfight Coup de Main
Scenario: Cityfight Coup de Main
Tyranid Forces: Darkwing
Ork Forces: Badelaire
The Scenario
For this battle we decided on Cityfight, as it had been a while since we played it, and decided to roll the dice to determine the scenario. The randomly generated scenario was determined to be Coup de Main. Normally, due to their nature as the ever-eating swarm, the Tyranids are always the attacker, but we decided that there could be some legitimate reason for the Tyranids to be the defender in this case. Perhaps the Orks wanted to take the objective building and the Tyranids were protecting new hatchlings there, or perhaps just wanted to lure the Orks into a kill zone centered on the building. In any case, we diced off for it, and the Tyranids ended up being the defender.

Battle Report: Orks vs. Angels of Arrogance Cleanse
This was to be a climactic battle the likes of which neither of us had ever seen. In this battle the Jacob and I would face off with a scenario that is rarely used these days: Cleanse. Most battles I’ve seen tend to use the more specific scenarios, such as Sabotage or Blitz. This time we decided to go against the grain and play something unique. I was eager to debut my newly constructed Space Marine Army, the Angels of Arrogance. It took me a while to amass the 2,000 points of what I needed to make a showing on the battlefield, but now I can field them with pride. For his part, Jacob would be fielding 2,000 of orks from his Waaagh! Grotnob.
