While I'm sure the IG/Eldar Planetstrike was a fun game to play, the Catachan/Ork game had far much more drama and excitement in it, that I'm sure it'll be remembered much longer.Darkwinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15335933745375951322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4832507778586404963.post-45924358945318831612009-07-27T05:28:41.801-04:002009-07-27T05:28:41.801-04:00Couldn't agree more. Its the best stories that make the best battle reports... whether the stories are born of 'luck' within the cauldron of battle (unlikely) or are generated through a scenario. A great example is in WD355, the planetstrike batrep was a little 'meh' as the guard player wasn't great and the play was a pretty one way street - there appeared little 'struggle' and more 'statistics'. However the six page 'old war stories' with the catachans infiltrating the ork camp was truly inspired. The combination of invented rules, gretchin looking the wrong way and heoric dashing across streams was far more inspiring...

... keep it up Arcadia - reading your reports is a real inspiration!suneokunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08085094845127991965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4832507778586404963.post-58993692104184200942009-07-27T01:37:03.426-04:002009-07-27T01:37:03.426-04:00Great read!
